Our Story

Gospel Co-Nextion is a faith-driven organization dedicated to serving and uplifting the community, making a positive impact since the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Our initiatives include providing hot meals to the homeless, collaborating with other nonprofits to distribute turkeys and school supplies, and hosting free, free homeowner’s consulting services, free music events that foster joy and connection, while getting the word out about our homeless condition here in Houston.

We believe that when individuals feel uplifted, they are more likely to spread kindness and positivity throughout society.

How You Can Support:

Gospel Co-Nextion is seeking donations to help fund our mission of feeding and clothing the homeless, as well as hosting free, uplifting music events for the public. Contributions will go directly toward covering essential perishables, venue expenses, and performance fees. By supporting this event, sponsors have the opportunity to invest in a positive cultural movement that aligns with our mission to create an atmosphere of joy, entertainment, and community impact. Your generosity will help make a lasting difference in the lives of those in need and bring hope to many.

The Indie Christian Artists Showcase is more than just a music event; it is a beacon of hope, a source of healing for the sick, and a comfort for the broken-hearted. Through honoring God with the gifts and talents of Christian musicians, we aim to make a positive impact on the world, one note at a time.

The Titu Community & Music Legacy Scholarship is proudly presented by Gospel Co-NEX-Tion, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, in partnership with the So You Wanna Dance Live Music Extravaganza. Established in memory of Mohamed “Titu” Alam, the scholarship honors his legacy of music, service, and community by supporting aspiring music students pursuing higher education at Texas Southern University.

The scholarship will be awarded during the 2nd Annual So You Wanna Dance Live Music Extravaganza, a celebration of Black Music Month that brings together live music, culture, entertainment, and community. Through this partnership, we are committed to investing in the next generation of musicians, artists, and music industry professionals while preserving a legacy that continues to inspire others.
